Stereoscopy - Caffeine

What the hell is this, I hear you ask?
This is something I came across a while ago and have been fascinated with since. The two photos are taken from slightly different positions, so if viewed together you get a 3D image. It works just like those things with the red and blue 3D glasses, just a bit more tricky... and hurts if you do it too much.

Cross your eyes as slowly as you can, and watch the two images split into four. This is because each eye is getting a different perspective and are no longer working together, so each eye is seeing two pictures each. Now keep crossing your eyes more, very slowly, until the two pictures in the middle merge to form one, and try and focus on that one image. Your right eye is focusing on the left image and your left eye is focusing on the right one. Once you're fully focused on that, you should see a rather odd, yet in my opinion utterly fascinating, 3D effect. It's very, very tricky to do at first, I think the key is just to try to link up the blurry shapes and believe that what you're looking at is a single image. With a bit of practice it becomes very easy, and quite possibly destroys your eyesight.

Anyway, yeah, I'm going to be playing around with this quite a bit, so I just wanted to do one which showed the effect well and was (hopefully) quite easy to do. I know it's really not a spectacular photo by any stretch of the imagination. >.>
